We used to have big fun at Google with the most mundane things back in the day. One day in 2015 when I arrived for work in Mountain View, I was having trouble finding an open parking space, as usual. Suddenly I spotted several open spaces, but they all had this sign. I double-parked for a minute so I could take this picture.
I’m not sure if this sign is still around, but as far as I know Gandalf (the dude in the picture) is still working, helping Hobbits and so on. And in case you’re wondering, Google Express was Google’s home shopping delivery service, long gone now (it existed from 2013 to 2019). So actually I guess that means the sign is gone too. It’s probably a collector’s item!
My favorite part of that time period at Google was out capacity to surprise and delight each other. One joke spawned another and before you know it you're being creative at work.
I guess, ten years after, a copyright infringement lawsuit is outdated
