One day in 2007 I arrived at the main Google campus on Charleston Road in Mountain View to this scene. A human driver had apparently made a mistake and popped a fire hydrant off the ground. The result was this spectacular display.
We nerds stood around for a while and photographed and admired it. Then we wandered off to work.
